The Suzanne Grethen Creative Services Associate Producer Fellowship is a 12-month paid program. Named for longtime Hearst Television (HTV) senior vice president of promotion and marketing Suzanne Grethen, the fellowship builds on the development program she launched in 2022, which has already placed fellows across HTV stations with strong conversion into full-time roles. Fellows gain exposure to creative services, branding and on-air promotion while contributing to real projects at an assigned HTV station.
As a creative services fellow, you’ll learn how stations promote their journalism, elevate their brands and engage audiences across platforms. You’ll work with creative leaders on daily assignments and longer-term projects, develop production and writing skills and gain a clear understanding of how promotion supports a station’s mission. Successful program participants are positioned for consideration for full-time creative services roles at HTV stations across the country, regardless of fellowship location, based on available opportunities.
