 Credence has an immediate need for a Sustainment Product Support Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting F-35 OZJ (FMO) in Washington D.C.

The AFLCMC Commander Directed Projects Office (AFLCMC/OZJ) executes AFLCMC/CC-directed projects to provide rapid, informed responses supporting decision making and requirements implementation. AFLCMC/OZJ consists of one or more multi-functional teams staffed to complete a specific task, project, or program. AFLCMC/OZJ is currently providing acquisition support to the F-35 and Air Force-Product Lifecycle Management Capability Support Office (AF-PLM CSO) programs, including the F-35A Fleet Management Office (FMO). 

The FMO provides and manages AFLCMC/USAF Principal support, conducts the Product Improvement Working Group (PIWG), the F-35A Readiness of Combat Capabilities Review (RoCCR), collects and validates F-35A fleet performance data and metrics, coordinates USAF F-35A POM inputs and funding priorities and executing USAF cost traceability, validation, and predictive cost modeling.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Apply their knowledge and experience in acquisition program management, policies, and procedures to the procurement of AF systems, subsystems, and equipment throughout their life cycles. 
  • Apply their integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines in order to effectively assist in the implementation of program direction. 
  • Plan, organize, and assist in managing critical aspects of the sustainment of systems, subsystems, and equipment. 
  • Assist in the full spectrum of actions required to award contracts to other weapon system contractors to include, but is not limited to, pre-award documentation, assisting with the source selection, and post-award actions.   
  • Assist with a wide range of program management activities to including but not limited to: 
    • Gather program information; 
    • Conduct analyses; 
    • Conduct acquisition strategy planning; 
    • Assist in pre-award and post-award document preparation; 
    • Assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, staff coordination and decision documentation preparation; 
    • Implement weapon system contractor performance status systems; 
    • Establish and maintain databases; 
    • Develop and analyze key program metrics; 
    • Develop and integrate risk management plans and strategies; 
    • Support program briefings; 
    • Assist the SPO in surveillance of weapon system prime contractor and subcontractor performance; 
    • Determine program progress and provide technical program management and planning support; 
    • Provide schedule management, participation as required in management reviews, coordination of activities leading to milestone reviews, acquisition support, risk assessments, and effectively communicating recommendations orally and in writing to higher organizational management; and participating in various IPT actions; 
    • Conduct surveys to determine requirements for new or modified pre-operational, operational, maintenance, training, depot, long term strategy; 
    • Assist in sustainment acquisition strategy document preparation 
    • Assist in CCP/ECP analysis support; 
    • Assist in public law analysis; 
    • Assist in depot activation and transformation; 
    • Assist in metrics preparation; 
    • Assist in studies and analysis partnering agreement and plans; 
    • Assist in logistics planning studies, and; 
    • Assist in partnering issue resolution. 
  • Accomplish analyses, write reports, recommend actions, or perform any related tasks that provide the organizational PMs and logisticians the capability to conduct the process of evolving and establishing maintenance/product support concepts, plans, and requirements for the on and/or off-equipment maintenance to be performed during the life of the system or equipment.  This includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: reliability centered maintenance program analyses, level of repair analyses, and other trade studies; attain required maintenance capability for organizational and depot-level on and off-equipment repair; develop depot support concept; perform the depot maintenance SORAP process and interservice screening; and establish depot maintenance capability. 
  • Provide risk assessments of planned or existing schedules which will serve as input to the development/design/production process for system elements.  Expected results will include, but not be limited to, evaluations of the probability of achieving defined schedules, detailed reviews of bottlenecks and recommended alternative approaches and evaluation of schedule structure and attainability. 
  • Assist in all GFE/GFP activities required for contract / program close-out.  The Contractor shall assist with all GFE/GFP and contractor furnished equipment management activities necessary to successfully develop, manufacture, repair, deploy, and support systems, system upgrades, and/or minor and major modifications to system capabilities.  The Contractor shall prepare and/or periodically review for applicability, accuracy, and completeness GFE/GFP related documentation required for the development, test, operation, maintenance, training, and support of systems or subsystems. 

Requirements
  • Clearance: Top Secret
  • MA/MS and ten (10) years of relevant experience or
  • BA/BS and eighteen (18) years of relevant experience or
  • Twenty-two (22) years of relevant experience
  • Possess at least ten years of program management experience with a demonstrated knowledge of DoD acquisition and sustainment
