The Sustainable Agricultural Lead (SAL) plays a central role in structuring, coordinating and steering Pernod Ricard’s approach to Sustainable Sourcing and Regenerative Agriculture within Procurement. The role ensures that global ambitions are translated into clear priorities, consistent methodologies, measurable KPIs and effective coordination across Procurement, S&R teams and Affiliates. The SAL acts as a functional orchestrator and governance lead, while operational deployment and field execution remain with local Procurement and Terroir teams.
Key responsibilitiesStrategy, vision and ambitionContribute to the definition of the global vision and ambition for Sustainable Sourcing and Regenerative Agriculture. Ensure that Procurement is properly equipped to support this ambition and acts as a coordinated and aligned function.
Policies, methodologies and toolsTranslate sustainability ambitions into clear, procurement-ready policies, methodologies and tools, ensuring alignment with Nature, Climate and CSRD frameworks.
Terroir mapping and prioritisationCoordinate the execution of terroir mapping exercises and structure the prioritisation of key and hotspot terroirs. Ensure clear communication of priorities and implications for Affiliates and Procurement teams.
Sustainable SourcingOversee the deployment of Sustainable Sourcing standards across priority agricultural materials. Coordinate monitoring and consolidation of KPIs, and ensure certification and compliance requirements are anticipated at affiliate level.
Regenerative AgricultureTranslate regenerative agriculture ambition into clear expectations for Affiliates and suppliers. Coordinate progress tracking, reporting and issue resolution across programs, while ensuring global visibility on progress, risks and bottlenecks.
