Job Description
In Intelligent Devices campus in Katowice, we are looking for an accomplished Sustainability Team Manager to join our team and lead Sustainability Team for RA Intelligent Devices segment. You will report to and work directly with the Director/Site Leader and have insight and influence on both local and global operations of Intelligent Devices.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead Sustainability Team for RA Intelligent Devices segment.
- Hire, onboard, and develop talents. Assist them with goal setting and their execution.
- Manage and develop skillset, identify and remove roadblocks, foster innovation to optimize team performance to meet business objectives.
- Perform Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for Power Control products including Variable Frequency Drives, Motor Control Centers, Motor Starters and their components
- Drive Design for Sustainability and Circularity initiatives in the ITD segment. Collaborate with development teams, other functions, and suppliers to achieve sustainability goals.
- Implement ESPR regulations to ITD products. Report status to stakeholders.
- Create an environment that promotes new ideas and effectiveness, fostered by intense collaboration in a hybrid workplace arrangement.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science or Sustainability Engineering preferred).
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years management experience.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in working with global teams.
- Interest in sustainability initiatives.
- Legal authorization to work in Poland is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Very good understanding of product development process.
- Knowledge of industrial automation products.
- Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment and Design for Sustainability methods.
