About this opportunity

Are you interested in crafting purpose-driven sustainability reporting?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team of 8 finance colleagues based in London. As a Sustainability Manager, you will focus on the delivery of our annual external sustainability report and the implementation of new reporting standards. The role also involves collaboration with internal stakeholders across the Group.

Day to day you’ll:

  • Lead on the development, co-ordination and production of the Group’s external sustainability reporting working closely with a wide range of internal collaborators and our external design agency and auditors.

  • Review and provide insight and develop plans for the implementation of emerging and developing reporting standards, such as ISSB, CSRD, CSDDD and US regulation.

  • Monitor ESG reporting and market practices regularly, staying informed on standards development and implications for the Group, and provide recommendations for improving ESG performance and reporting outcomes.

  • Respond to and review ESG rating questionnaires for the Group, identifying and closing gaps in reporting

  • Coach and support junior team members to support overall team delivery

About us

From building a truly sustainable business to creating a place where people love to work, we need colleagues who are up for the challenge of our bold ambitions. Who are excited to push boundaries and make change happen. Together, we can grow with purpose.

What you’ll need:

  • You’ll have a well-rounded background in sustainability or ESG, with specific experience and knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks, standards and regulations impacting the financial services sector

  • A passion and interest across the full breadth of sustainability including growing topics such as social, nature and biodiversity

  • A strong background collaborating with partners and expert relationship management combined with excellent written communication, presentation and analytical skills

  • Ideally with knowledge of accountancy gained through practical experience or professional qualification

  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment against time constrained deadlines

  • Be a self-starter and confident in supporting and improving processes

About working for us

Our focus is to ensure we’re inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms. We’re committed to creating a consciously inclusive workplace where our colleagues can be themselves, thrive and perform at their best.

We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer Initiative.

As an inclusive employer, we offer Workplace Adjustments for colleagues with a disability (which may include long-term health and neurodivergent conditions) where it is reasonable to do so. This could include flexibility with regards to office attendance, location, and working pattern.

We are proud to be a Disability Confident Leader. If you have a disability, you can also apply via our Disability Confident Scheme (DCS). Through the DCS, we guarantee to interview a fair and proportionate number of applicants with a disability, whose application meets the minimum criteria for the advertised job role.

We also provide adjustments that are reasonable throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers for applicants with a disability, long-term health condition or neurodivergent condition. If you’d like an adjustment to the recruitment process just let us know.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%

  • An annual performance-related bonus

  • Share schemes including free shares

  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping

  • 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top

  • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
