Job DescriptionTo support DPD in their mission to be the UKs leader in sustainable delivery by
taking learnings from the apprenticeship qualification and using this to drive
initiatives, projects and ways of working.
Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility
● Completing customer carbon reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and adhoc basis utilising the existing reporting framework
● Monitoring the team mailbox and responding to queries in a professional and timely manner
● Liaising with customers regarding granular carbon data requirements and preparing reports to fulfill these requests
● Processing invoices relating to the use of external stakeholders e.g. consultancies and charities
● Identification and development of projects suitable for the DPD Eco Fund
● Maintaining excellent relationships with external stakeholders such as charities and partners involved in Relove and Eco Fund initiatives
● Developing knowledge and capability in relation to the application of sustainability-related legislation and supporting with implementation
● Management of supplier relationships for the purpose of gathering emissions data and working closely with internal teams to manage and communicate this data
● Developing communication skills through various mediums to support in the engagement of internal and external stakeholders
● Building relationships with stakeholders across the business to support in the implementation of projects
● Supporting at off-site meetings and events with external stakeholders such as customers and charity partners
● Operating effectively within organisational, financial, and resource constraints and policies, and being compliant with statutory safety and employment regulations
● Maintaining high levels of professional conduct, ethical behaviour and integrity at all times
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
● Candidates must have completed three A-Levels, minimum grade C
● Apprentices must have achieved a pass at GCSE/Level 2 in Maths and English before they can complete their final exams.
