A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As our Sustainability Analyst you will help execute on our ambitious sustainability goals and roadmap. You will advance our sustainability reporting and disclosures externally. You will collaborate extensively with colleagues across various functions like Operations, Supply Chain etc. to consolidate our ESG reporting data. You will report to the Global Head of Sustainability and work with the global sustainability team on a daily basis.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Supporting the consolidation of ESG data across all our operational sites
- Drive and own the materiality assessment process to determine material sustainability topics for MKS
- Set targets for other material sustainability topics including water, waste in collaboration with operations
- Co-develop implementation roadmaps for all target areas by working closely with operations, and local site teams
- Drive our sustainability reporting as per applicable reporting standards (including SEC climate disclosures, EU CSRD and SASB index) and customer and investor questionnaires
- Drive necessary research, analysis and peer-benchmarking projects to support the sustainability roadmap development and implementation as needed
- Monitors regulatory compliance for sustainability topics across all our regions
- Recommends corrective actions where there are gaps to relevant regulations and customer expectations
- Responsible for responding to customer and investor questionnaires on sustainability/ESG
- Co-author our annual ESG report
Skills You Bring:
- Masters' in Environmental or Social sciences or any other Sustainability related topics
- 5+ years of job-related work experience
- Good working understanding of key sustainability standards/frameworks including GHG protocol, Science Based Targets Initiative, Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), TCFD, SASB etc.
- Experience with external reporting of sustainability data and related processes
- Exhibits personal skills including communication, stakeholder management and collaborative problem solving
- Is results oriented, self-driven and takes full ownership
- Fluency in English as a working language is necessary
