Pure Data Centres is seeking a Sustainability Analyst  to support the business in responding to the increasing sustainability requirements of customers, investors, lenders, regulators and strategic partners.

The role will act as the central coordination point for sustainability information, ensuring that accurate, consistent and defensible sustainability data, disclosures and performance information are available to support commercial growth, project development and corporate reporting. Working across Sustainability, Finance, Legal, Development, Delivery and Commercial teams, the successful candidate will help translate complex sustainability information into meaningful insights that support investment decisions, customer engagement and business strategy.

As Pure continues to expand internationally and engage with increasingly sophisticated stakeholders, this role will play a critical part in demonstrating the company's sustainability performance, managing disclosure requests and strengthening the evidence base behind sustainability claims and commitments.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities & Deliverables

1. Customer, Investor and Lender Support

Lead the coordination and preparation of sustainability information required by customers, investors, lenders and strategic partners. The role will ensure responses to due diligence requests, ESG questionnaires, sustainability assessments and financing-related disclosure requirements are accurate, consistent and aligned with corporate disclosures. The individual will work closely with internal subject matter experts to translate technical information into stakeholder-ready responses that support business development and financing activities.

2. Sustainability Data & Intelligence Management

Develop and maintain the systems, datasets and supporting evidence that underpin Pure's sustainability reporting and stakeholder communications. This includes establishing effective approaches for managing sustainability information, ensuring data quality and creating efficient processes for responding to recurring information requests from across the business.

3. Reporting & Disclosure

Support the delivery of corporate sustainability reporting programmes and external disclosures. The role will help coordinate information required for key reporting initiatives, maintain supporting documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes as stakeholder expectations continue to evolve.

4. Business Insight & Strategic Analysis

Provide analysis and insights on sustainability performance, emerging trends and stakeholder expectations. The role will support decision-making through the interpretation of sustainability data, helping identify risks, opportunities and areas where additional evidence or action may be required.

5. Sustainability Communications & Content Development

Support the development of sustainability content used across customer submissions, investor materials, funding documentation and corporate communications. The role will ensure messaging remains fact-based, consistent and aligned with company strategy, while helping different parts of the organisation communicate sustainability topics effectively.

6. Frameworks, Ratings & Benchmarking 

Support the management of sustainability assessments, ratings and benchmarking exercises. The role will coordinate information requests, monitor performance against external frameworks and identify opportunities to strengthen Pure's sustainability positioning with customers, investors and other stakeholders.

7. Governance & Continuous Improvement

Contribute to the ongoing development of sustainability processes, reporting controls and data governance arrangements across the organisation. The role will help create a more scalable approach to sustainability management, supporting the company's continued growth across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be highly organised, analytical and capable of working across large volumes of technical information. They will be comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders, synthesising complex data and producing concise outputs that support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, corporate reporting, investment analysis, consulting or data-driven business functions. They should possess strong communication skills, an ability to manage competing priorities and a keen attention to detail.

Experience supporting investor due diligence, customer sustainability requests, ESG reporting programmes, sustainability ratings, financing transactions or corporate sustainability disclosures would be highly advantageous.


  • 1-2  years' experience in data management, analysis

  • Experience with data analysis software such as PowerBi or similar, and demonstrate ability to convert large data sets into insights and useful information. 

  • Experience in data management in critical infrastructure, data centres, energy infrastructure, industrial developments, utilities or major projects, is preferable.

  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with the ability to prioritise competing requirements.

  • Good communication skills, transferable stakeholder management experience.

  • Degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, STEM or related discipline

Note:  The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment screening to BS7858:2019, or national equivalent. (Covers: Confirmation of identity, legal right to work, financial probity, criminal history and associations with proscribed organisations). Skills Required

  • 1-2 years' experience in data management and analysis
  • Experience with data analysis software such as Power BI (or similar) and ability to convert large datasets into insights
  • Degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, STEM or related discipline
  • Strong communication skills and transferable stakeholder management experience (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise competing requirements
