GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under general supervision, surveys sites for new signs and/or reviews existing conditions for future upgrades.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Surveys sites for new sign installations and identifies any issues or concerns
- Surveys sites to provide details necessary to create a cost estimate
- Surveys sites for design intent applicability
- Lays out sign in field and communicates any issues with Design, Estimating, Sales, Production and Installation
- Travels to field site
- Follows all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and electrical drawings as well as plot plans.
- Review contracts
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enters survey data and maintains records in NetSuite
- Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned

- Interacts with Design, Estimating & Sales

A High School Diploma or GED and five or more years of relevant experience involving demonstrated abilities in construction, permitting, reading blueprints and work orders; or any combination of training, education and experience which provides the following knowledge, abilities, and skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities to meet critical deadlines, as well as working independently
- Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone and in writing
- Ability to operate computer, telephone, and other office equipment
- Excellent basic math skills
- Strong work ethic with an enthusiastic, positive attitude, and the highest level of integrity
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain regular and timely attendance
- Valid CDL Driver’s License
