UCT is looking for a talented Supv, Production to join us in Tainan! 

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing frontline personnel, coordinating daily operations, and supervising execution to ensure production, logistics, or support activities are completed according to plan while achieving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets. As a first-line leader, this role serves as a key communication bridge between management and employees, leading the team in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and assign workforce activities to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
  • Supervise operators to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and established operating procedures.
  • Respond promptly to operational issues and coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions and resolve problems.
  • Monitor production progress and workforce productivity to ensure delivery commitments and output targets are achieved
  • Perform people management responsibilities, including work instruction, performance monitoring, coaching, and skills development.
  • Promote and drive 5S, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence.
  • Ensure the proper operation of equipment, material availability, and workplace conditions to minimize operational risks.
  • Collect, analyze, and report operational data to support management decision-making.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and coordination to ensure effective execution of operational objectives.
  • Foster a high-performance team culture by enhancing employee engagement, teamwork, and morale.

  • In addition to being responsible for team management and work allocation, this role requires active involvement in frontline operations, problem analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent is expected to lead by example and guide the team in achieving operational goals and performance targets

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Work Experience: Over 6 months of practical experience in transportation dispatching, logistics management, and concurrently performing driving duties.
  • Professional Skills: Proficient in vehicle dispatching logic and scheduling practices, with deep knowledge of facility and regional routes.
  • Communication & Adaptability: Excellent executive and client interaction skills, with the ability to adapt flexibly in high-pressure and fast-changing environments.
  • Management Style: Committed to a hands-on management approach, with the demonstrated capability to balance on-site execution and team supervision simultaneously.

Educational/Certification Requirement: 

  • Over 6 months of practical experience in transportation
  • Commercial Driver's License (over 11 tons requested)

Experience Requirement:

  • Professional Skills: Proficient in vehicle dispatching logic and scheduling practices, with deep knowledge of facility and regional routes.
