Job Description
Brightspeed is looking for a Supervisor, Field Operations Support within the Dispatch Resource Center (DRC) to join our team! As the Supervisor you will be responsible for the supervision of a specific work function to coach, developed, and performance management. This role is to lead diverse teams, to work within a fast-moving environment to rapidly deliver support and services to our customers to drive an outstanding experience and excel at meeting key performance indicators.
As a Supervisor, Field Operations Support Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Handle the daily management and supervision of 15-20 employees.
- Handle escalations from internal departments
- Build partner relationship with field support to promote a positive experience for our customers.
- Maintain production levels by setting goals for team members and actively coaching towards those goals.
- Provide coaching and counseling via group meetings and individual employee counseling.
- Seek to continually improve work methods and results individually and for the team.
- Create a positive work environment.
- Provide feedback to partner organizations on process gaps to improve customer experience.
- Lead team thru change and communicate changes to mitigate anxiety.
- Partner with management to prioritize business needs and stay up to date with the goals of the organization as they evolve. Will also collaborate with other departments to find new ways to improve opportunities.
- Design, promote and teach a data driven work environment.
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate meaningful thoughts and recommendations.
Qualifications
What It Takes To Catch Our Eye:
- Bachelor’s or Equivalent of 4-6 years previous Leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, team building, customer service, analytical, problem solving, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead cross functional teams.
- Self-empowered and able to act quickly to make critical business decisions.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, TEAMS
- The ability and desire to quickly understand new technologies/systems and how to best use them for technician support.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to hire, develop, and motivate team members.
- Growth mindset
- Self-starter that acts beyond specific, explicit job responsibilities and assignments
- Invested in yourself and others thru continuous learning.
- Experience leading team thru change
- Ability to stay organized while working in a dynamic environment where numerous projects occur at the same time is a must.
- Able to work under pressure to meet goals and deadlines.
Bonus Points For:
- Previous programming and/or facility assignment experience
- Knowledge of outside plant and/or field technician processes
- Telecom Industry knowledge
