Job Description Summary:
The Support Services -EVS Educator-facilitates new departmental orientation and continuing staff education for OhioHealth EVS associates throughout the system. The incumbent will support system level education activities through the development and revision of departmental policies/procedures, as well as assist in the design of education based on EVS standards, regulatory requirements, and OhioHealth policy. The Support Services -EVS Educator will need to work effectively within OhioHealth EVS in a highly matrixed fashion with key internal and external stakeholders to the EVS department. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the educational activities for EVS associates that promote exceptional care for OhioHealth's patients and visitors.Responsibilities And Duties:
65%Staff Training and Education Supporting associate completion of initial and annual compliance education ICE/AC e via OhioHealth University Providing hands on instruction and demonstration of routine EVS associate responsibilities, including but not limited to discharge, occupied room cleaning, and terminal cleaning; Providing remedial and continuous performance training for associates as new processes are developed and or modified based on organizational needs Providing instruction to EVS associates to support the use of CareConnect Epi c applications
