Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for taking care of FIX infrastructure and changes associated with it.
- Responsible for certifying clients and on boarding them in Production.
- Responsible for FIX QA related activities as and when assigned.
- Responsible for coordinating with other teams (application, infrastructure etc)
- Ensure along with own work, review work of junior team member and quality and timely delivery
- Mentoring and train the junior staff and bring them up to the speed.
- Responsible for Incident and problem management and part of the escalation’s procedure in FIX space.
- Interact with developers and work across teams for QA projects.
- Interact with business users and client for investigation of any issue with electronic order flow.
- Work on SQL, Unix & proprietary trading environment.
- Work on rollouts for new/existing Markets and new/existing products.
- Work on Critical Projects with demanding time frames.
- Work on various in-house developed systems and assist with the QA for the same.
- Work on Bloomberg and various automation tools with an effort to continuously automate the process.
- Follow standards and best practices, involving the broader technology organization where appropriate.
- Analysing the problems and creating definite test suite for the same.
Requirements
- University Graduate with a Technical Engineering (B.E/B. Tech)/MCA degree.
- Mandatory - experience of working in Equities Brokerage Front Office role for Capital Markets.
- Must have exposure working on Production Support and QA environment.
- Must have exposure in working directly with end customers/business, vendors, other project stakeholders as needed.
- Mandatory - FIX Protocol experience required especially around FIX certification process.
- Should have good working knowledge on SQL & Unix.
- QA experience required with good problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- FIX client onboarding experience required and fixing issues on fly.
- Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written, as this role requires extensive communication within and outside the firm.
- IT Experience 8 to 12 Years.
- Good command of spoken and written English
