Roles and Responsibilities
Support Monitoring & Diagnostic (M&D) Center’s local platform - On Site Monitors, peripheral devices, associated network equipment and applications.
Improve data availability from controller and other site devices such as vibration, dynamics, and plant data.
Support and improve OSM health management for the fleet.
Work with development team to test new applications and provide input on enhancements and defects.
Support fleet improvement and update initiatives as needed.
Drive issue resolution for both internal and external customers.
Support initiatives to improve data quality and trip reliability
Implement automation efforts to support proactive issue prevention and/or resolution.
Draft training and troubleshooting documentation.
Lead lean initiatives across cross functional teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related IT/Engineering field - Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science/Information Technology, Instrumentation, Controls, or equivalent knowledge and experience
1 - 3 years working with and supporting GE Controller, Bently or other M&D Field Products.
1-3 years working with ControlST Software (ToolboxST, WorkstationST, etc)
Working knowledge of Windows Server (2016, 2022,2025)
Experience working in an independent and highly matrix environment, coordinating across multiple sites, functions, and time zones
Desired Characteristics
Prefer experience with supporting network- or cyber-security requirements, especially for NERC CIP customers
Prefer experience with Proficy Historian products
Prefer experience driving RCA and defect resolution with development teams (Controls, NPI, etc.)
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and critical thinking Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills; Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Capable of switching between tasks based on priority and be able to communicate priority & urgency to leadership.
Experience working with thermal and/or aero asset sites.
Green Belt Certification, or Lean/Company equivalent
Experience working in a global environment.
Knowledge of Servicenow and case management.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
