Support Engineer 2 – Azure, Disaster Recovery, Python, Servicenow workflows, REST APIs, SQL & JSON
- We are seeking a skilled DevOps Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in automation platforms such as Ansible AWX and iAutomate, along with ServiceNow integration expertise. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and manage automation workflows across infrastructure and cloud environments, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
What you’ll do:
Design and implement automation solutions for disaster recovery (DR), database refresh processes, and incident management
Develop and manage Ansible AWX playbooks, workflows, and job templates
Integrate systems and tools using REST APIs and JSON-based data exchange
Automate and streamline ServiceNow workflows, including Incident (INC), Service Request (SR), and Change Request (CR) processes
Develop scripts using Python or Shell to support automation and orchestration
Monitor automation jobs, analyze failures, and perform troubleshooting to ensure system stability
What we are looking for:
- Hands-on experience with Ansible AWX and RBA tools such as iAutomate
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow platform and workflows
- Proficiency in REST APIs and JSON
- Experience in Python or Shell scripting
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and disaster recovery concepts

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2-4 years of overall IT experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python development
- Strong programming skills in Python, including scripting and API integration
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations
- Exposure to AI/LLM technologies and prompt engineering
- Understanding of automation workflows and orchestration
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create automation solutions
- Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn AI tools and frameworks
