Job Description
The Support Consultant is an entry-level position within the PMIS support team, offering a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced technical support environment. You will work closely with Senior Consultants to learn the intricacies of various PMIS applications (Primavera P6, Unifier, Acconex, or Enablon) and provide user support.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Assist users with basic troubleshooting of PMIS applications (e.g., login problems, report access issues) under the guidance of Senior Consultants.
- Follow established procedures to resolve common user inquiries and document solutions in the knowledge base.
- Assist with data entry, basic configuration tasks, and user training materials.
- Escalate complex user issues and technical problems to Senior Consultants for further investigation and resolution.
- Knowledge Acquisition and Learning:
- Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to build expertise in supported PMIS applications (e.g., Primavera P6, Unifier, Acconex, Enablon).
- Shadow Senior Consultants during user interactions to observe best practices in problem-solving and solution delivery.
- Conduct independent research to find solutions for user inquiries and contribute relevant information to the knowledge base.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with users, clarifying their needs, providing clear explanations, and following up to ensure their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the support team to share knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and learn from each other's experiences.
- Document user interactions, solutions implemented, and lessons learned in a clear and concise manner.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role or relevant IT experience with their assigned PMIS application (Primavera P6, Unifier, Acconex, or Enablon).
- Basic understanding of IT concepts and familiarity with user support methodologies.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and follow instructions effectively.
- Strong work ethic, a proactive approach, and a desire to learn and grow in the PMIS support field.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant feild.
