What you’ll do:
We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Coordinator, OR Support & Logistics to oversee critical operational support functions within our Surgical Services department. This role is responsible for supervising service areas, coordinating equipment and logistics needs, overseeing daily staffing assignments, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations that support exceptional patient care.
The Coordinator works closely with Surgical Services leadership to maintain efficient operations, support quality patient care, and enhance team performance.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily operational and logistical needs for Surgical Services.
- Oversee daily assignments and scheduling for Anesthesia Technicians, Service Associates, and Surgical Services Technicians.
- Manage equipment allocation and availability to support surgical procedures and departmental needs.
- Assist with planning for replacement and maintenance of specialty equipment.
- Monitor operational processes and identify opportunities for quality and performance improvement.
- Support compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with nursing leaders and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and surgical scheduling.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management activities.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on patient care and customer service excellence.
- Assist with budget-conscious operational decisions, product evaluations, and resource utilization.
- Maintain effective communication with leadership, staff, and other departments.
- Participate in professional development activities and stay informed of industry best practices.

Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Minimum Experience:
Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

Compensation
Pay Range: $20.02 - $31.03 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
