In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and improving Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our global digital solutions by designing and implementing automation tools for monitoring, alerting, and application self-healing.
Our Application team manages the full lifecycle of customer physical and digital records, offering predictive insights using cutting-edge technologies like machine learning and cloud services.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Drive Automation and Operational Efficiency: Conduct deep analysis of solutions and operational procedures to identify and implement tooling and automation opportunities using scripting languages like Python and Bash, aiming to boost productivity and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Complex Issues: Participate in root cause analysis, advanced troubleshooting, and application monitoring to find permanent or automated solutions, and proactively communicate with engineering and DevOps teams to quickly resolve issues.
Maintain and Enhance Platform Health: Manage application monitoring notifications, proactively address problems to ensure optimal performance, and assist with escalated customer requests and issues to ensure high customer satisfaction and minimal technical debt.
The ideal candidate will have:
Three or more years of experience creating tools for automation, debugging, and monitoring for enterprise-level applications.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems, basic Structured Query Language (SQL), Elasticsearch queries, and experience using REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) (or Postman).
Proven ability in full-stack troubleshooting, a deep understanding of common scripting languages (Python, Bash), and a preference for experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree, or equivalent experience.
