Manage and improve military aircraft logistics support: translate program requirements into logistics needs, coordinate supply/maintenance/transportation/procurement, oversee depot-level repair and overhaul, advise on budget and data-processing integration, and support Supply leadership.

Requirements
1.Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in all areas of logistics of
which 8 years will have been in a managerial capacity. This experience
will
have been related to aircraft support in a military environment and should be as
qualified as a USF Supply Management Technician
Specialist.
2.Thorough background knowledge of the techniques of logistics planning and
programming in functional areas of Supply, transportation,
procurement,
statistical methods and procedures, functions pertaining to logistics support,
system and training.
3. Strong communicative skills, both oral and written
4.Able to advise on the development of logistics support concepts and
systems, with guidance on their implementation and coordination of resource
costs and availability.

Skills Required
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in all areas of logistics, including 8 years in a managerial capacity, related to aircraft support in a military environment (equivalent to USF Supply Management Technician Specialist).
- Thorough background knowledge of logistics planning and programming across supply, transportation, procurement, statistical methods, logistics support systems, and training.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to advise on development and implementation of logistics support concepts and systems, including coordination of resource costs and availability.
