As a Material Availability Specialist, you will optimize inbound material logistics to ensure timely supply for our factories and hubs. Your responsibilities include managing inventories, executing order fulfillment, and supporting internal and external procurement forecasting. You will analyze data to address material shortages, lead time management, and drive effective supplier communication. With a focus on inventory optimization techniques and problem-solving methods, you will contribute to team success while working within established parameters. Leveraging your experience in SAP ERP MM and Excel, you will play a crucial role in streamlining operations and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure timely inbound material availability while optimizing logistics costs.
- Execute and manage orders, collaborating on forecasts with internal and external suppliers.
- Monitor and manage material shortages and lead times effectively.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock level reviews and excess/obsolete inventory reporting.
- Maintain procurement data to support operational efficiency.

- Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision.
