Supply Services Technician (THAAD Product Support)

Position: Supply Services Technician (THAAD Product Support)
Overview: The Supply Services Technician will provide supply chain operations/management in support of fielded weapon systems in support of the United States Army.
Responsibilities:

• Manage Packaging, Handling and Shipping of parts and material.
• Track and report inventory of parts and materiel at assigned location in accordance with AR 750-1 & AR 710-2.
• Conduct Stock checks.
• Perform wall to wall roll up validation.
• Travel as assigned with equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Supports extended hours and an extended work week as required in conjunction with system readiness, training events, and test events, as required.
• Supports scheduled and expeditionary deployments and rotations with a minimum of 120 hours’ notice. Will deploy as Contractors Authorized to Accompany the Force IAW DoDI 3020.41 and AR 715-9. These deployments and rotations may include transportation via Military Air, Military Charter, CONUS Replacement Center, or Commercial means. Living conditions may be limited to military or commercial tents, cots or bunk beds, and potentially inconsistent power/heating/air-conditioning. Will be required to work shifts to support 24/7 operations as required by the unit’s mission. Rations will either be provided by U.S. of Host Nation personnel or employee may be otherwise compensated.  

• 2 years vocational training in supply services.
• 2 years or more of relevant supply chain operations.
• Active Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Valid Passport.
• Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must demonstrate compliance with Army Regulations to all Areas of Responsibility prior to start.
• Willing to travel or deploy as called to any location with little to no prior notice.
• Experience with basic automotive principles.
• Experience with PHS&T of Army materials including HAZMAT items.

• Current Commercial Driver’s License.
• Previous Deployment Experience.
• Previous Experience with THAAD or similar air defense system.
• PMCS Experience.
• Experience driving a forklift.
• Previous experience with Army Regulations regarding inventory and supply chain management and readiness standards.
