It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!

We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.

Peter Millar was founded in 2001 with a single cashmere sweater offered in 24 colors. Based in Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina, the American lifestyle brand has grown to include luxury performance sportswear, seasonal resort and country club apparel, sophisticated classics, casually refined tailored clothing and sartorial accessories.

We strive to capture timeless style upgraded with signature innovations, in designs that are in tune with modern life. We embrace working hard, being kind and doing right by our customers, aiming to set a higher standard for the apparel industry.

This role is ideal for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The Supply Planner will own core supply planning and inventory management processes end to end, while also helping refine, modernize, and scale planning capabilities to support a growing business. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable navigating complexity, and motivated by translating insight into durable, high-impact solutions.

  • Define, track, and improve inventory KPIs including in-stock rates, turns, excess, and allocation efficiency
  • Own excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory identification and depletion strategy
  • Balance inventory across fulfillment centers and logical locations through ongoing analysis and execution
  • Ensure fulfillment readiness for launches, campaigns, and peak periods, proactively communicating risks, delays, or constraints

Inventory Leadership & Governance

  • Provide leadership with regular, executive-ready visibility into inventory health, investment strategies, risks, and tradeoffs
  • Maintain accurate item master data and lead regular reviews, including seasonal transitions
  • Serve as trained backup for inventory syncs and adjustments, including execution and analysis

Planning, S&OP, and Cross-Functional Execution

  • Lead assigned areas of the S&OP supply review, capturing key discussions, decisions, and follow-up actions

  • Independently develop clear summaries and recommendations that support timely, data-driven decision-making
  • Potential opportunity to assume ownership of factory capacity planning for key vendors

Process Improvement, Systems & Analytics

  • Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements that reduce lead times, increase flexibility, improve service levels, and minimize waste
  • Design and implement tools, automation, and data flows to improve planning speed, accuracy, and decision quality
  • Develop strong working knowledge of ERP, WMS, and planning systems to support scenario analysis and execution
  • Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions for all assigned processes
