The Supply Planner I is responsible for supporting inventory availability and supply continuity by developing and maintaining supply plans that align with customer demand, production capacity, and business objectives. This entry-level supply chain role works closely with procurement, production, logistics, and demand planning teams to ensure materials and finished goods are available while minimizing excess inventory and supply disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain supply plans to support customer demand and inventory targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to prevent shortages and excess stock.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory trends to identify supply risks.
  • Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Track supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Review purchase orders, planned orders, and inventory replenishment recommendations.
  • Assist in resolving supply constraints, stockouts, and material shortages.
  • Maintain accurate planning parameters, master data, and system records.
  • Generate and analyze supply chain reports, KPIs, and inventory metrics.
  • Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and inventory review processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, service levels, and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate supply risks and mitigation plans to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, production planning, procurement, or a related supply chain function.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 WE VALUE

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, MRP, inventory optimization, and planning concepts.
  • APICS/ASCM certification or progress toward certification.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is $53314K - $69117K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities or the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
