What you will do:
The Supply Planner is responsible for managing the supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and collaboration with various departments to ensure timely procurement of materials. This role involves analyzing historical data, monitoring inventory levels, and optimizing supply strategies to meet production and customer needs efficiently.
How you will do it:
- Develop and maintain supply planning processes to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to gather insights and enhance supply chain performance.
- Analyze supply chain KPIs and adjust strategies to improve service levels while minimizing costs.
- Utilize ERP systems for tracking and managing inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment of materials.
- Identify potential supply risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain continuity in operations.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate supply activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be fluent in English, verbal and written.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using supply chain software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation.
