YOUR MISSION

As a Supply Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational metrics and supply status of Rome, reporting to the Operations Director. The couriers are a key player in Glovo’s marketplace, and you will need to ensure the long-term sustainability of the fleet, as well as its daily performance.

THE JOURNEY

  • Understand, deep-dive and have complete awareness of the region’s supply situation at all times
  • Analyze daily and weekly operational metrics with a macro view for the long-term success of all cities in the region
  • Get to know the fleet of the region, be hands-on and active part of the courier support initiatives
  • Lead regional projects to increase efficiency, reduce delivery time, keep under control costs and improve quality
  • Define and implement regional processes and campaigns for the acquisition and conversion of couriers
  • Define and execute high-impact regional engagement and retention projects
  • Make data-driven decisions to identify best practices and improve regional performance.
  • Manage daily interactions with Head of Region and regional commercial team
  • Liaise with the Supply Ops Strategy team to improve regional processes

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and drive actions
  • 3+ years of experience in high demanding positions (operations, consulting, investment banking, etc.). 
  • Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience managing high-performing  teams
  • Strong organizational skills and delegation, ability to prioritize and multitask, work well under pressure, and handle multiple issues simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Endless curiosity - you wonder why problems exist, spend hours figuring out why, and can’t stop thinking about solutions
  • The ability not only to plan an initiative but also to execute it
  • An openness to change.
  • Effective communication skills 
  • Italian and English full professional proficiency
  • Advanced knowledge on Google Sheets, MS Excel  and SQL (as a plus)
