Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator 2. This position is located in Ogden, UT and supports the Strategic Deterrent Systems division.
What You'll Get to Do:
Provides administrative, technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas, primarily Goods Movement, Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Operations
Tracks and stages Raw Material and Parts for Manufacturing Processes
Experience in SAP Goods Issue and Goods Receiving transactions
Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process
Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand
Works closely with the Integration/Production Control team and shop floor with experience working in a warehouse environment
Wraps and packs parts to send to on and offsite locations
Provides status of material and/or parts during meetings or other required planning/status sessions
Operate company-owned vehicles to execute pick-up and delivery of parts between Northrop Grumman sites/buildings, and offsite locations at times
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical requirements

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Job Qualifications
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing and/or inventory control
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
Ability to obtain forklift certification
Ability to lift 35 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work in MS 365, Excel, Word, Power Point
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Prior experience using a forklift / reach lift / pallet jack
Prior experience using SAP/ MES
HAZMAT or chemical handling experience
Warehousing Operations
Experience supporting Manufacturing/Production in support of DOD contracts
