Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator to provide support to our team in our Clearfield, UT. location.
Position is onsite and unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.
The selected candidate will support and assist activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provide technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. The employee will be primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.
Provide logistical support:
Preparing and/or coordinating required shipping documentation.
Storage, tracking, and issuing inventories.
Coordinates with Property Management for shipping/receiving tooling and equipment.
Monitoring receipt of item at receipt and maintains shipment/receiving records.
Assist Accounts Payable in processing Invoices by providing shipment information.
Ensure received parts/materials are staged for Quality Incoming Inspection.
Ordering of needed shipping supplies
Knowledge of Workbooks, procedures, and forms.
This position may be filled as a Level 1 or Level 2 based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications Level 1:
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to obtain Secret Level Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required).
Ability to obtain special program access.
This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
Basic Qualifications Level 2:
High School Diploma/GED and 2 yrs relevant work experience in shipping/receiving, and/or inventory control and/or manufacturing environment
Ability to obtain Secret Level Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required).
Ability to obtain special program access.
This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in operating a forklift and other types of freight moving equipment.
Experience with safely loading and unloading trucks.
Experience with setting up shipments and/or coordinating with transportation brokers.
Experience with classified white-glove shipping requirements.
Experience with using an MRP system for storing and issuing inventory.
Previous experience with inventory with shelf life and/or out-time controls.
Experienced user of MS Office computer programs to accomplish reports, logs, and briefings.
Hazmat training and experience is highly desired.
