ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with the Production Planner to create efficient, accurate, & understandable machine schedules for Operations
- Maintain knowledge of accurate raw material inventories needed for scheduling
- Perform Monthly & Quarterly cycle counts of raw materials
- Proactively work with Operations & Shipping/Receiving to provide the highest level of customer service
- Short term planning inventory analysis, min/max analysis, and review.
- Involvement in CI Events to improve storage & flow processes of materials for Operations
- Work in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with all safety rules and precautions.
- Serve as backup to the Production Planner
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2-3 years of manufacturing/industrial experience.
- 3+ years experience with Excel programs and knowledge of MRP concepts
- Possess strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, technical and communication skills.
- Can effectively interface with all levels of employees.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, ERP systems and Access preferred.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Incumbent works in manufacturing. Individual will work approximately 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.
- Requires sitting (50%), moderate walking (30%), & standing (20%). Will spend time on production floor interacting with production management & hourly workforce.
- Required GMP and PPE: hair/beard net, safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields, and proper hearing protection
- Tasks are performed in a 24/7 production or warehouse environment which includes noise, lights, and moving equipment.
