Summary of This RoleManages, controls, and directs the material supply, storage, shipping, and receiving teams. Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies to ensure the timely flow of materials and the return of finished goods to distribution facilities within established time frames. Ensures that goods are moved, handled, and stored safely, correctly, and in accordance with established schedules and inventory lists. Advises on interpretation of stock orders, requests, and shipping and receiving tickets, and authorizes the movement of materials accordingly. Provides reports from data entered into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieves stored information; or responds to inquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.) Manages the effectiveness of handling procedures and space utilization and instructs on areas for improvement. Prioritizes and assigns tasks to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met. Ensures that all materials are handled correctly and that all machines and equipment (for example forklifts and conveyors) are operated safely and according to instructions.

Interprets stock orders, requests, and shipping and receiving tickets, and authorizes the movement of materials accordingly.
- Assists in researching and resolving inventory issues. Troubleshoots issues, investigates problems and recommends the appropriate solutions. Identifies and escalates issues that could potentially impact production or people in a timely manner. Ensures work is completed in a timely manner to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Recommends necessary changes to management that are needed to accomplish tasks in a more productive manner.
- Helps provide products and services which meet or exceed our clients' expectations. Researches issues to eliminate errors. Assists team members in documenting any issues. Provides information to management by compiling, initiating and analyzing issues.

Minimum Qualifications

- Relevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
