We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team (Stargate distribution Hub) in Foodservice in Europe.
The Supply Chain Specialist is part of a team responsible for customer service and procurement activities.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
• Sales Forecast consolidation from (internal) customers and loading it into the planning system (ORACLE ASCP)
• Replenishment planning of sourced goods (lead process and define planning parameters), balancing Inventory, Service Levels (OTIF) and Sourcing costs.
• Placement and follow-up of purchase orders (main point of contact with suppliers)
• Management and follow-up freight of goods from suppliers (prepare customs documentation, update relevant stakeholders, main point of contact with freight forwarders and inbound team at the warehouse)
• Maintaining price lists in ORACLE
• Supporting Customer Service Specialist with relevant activities (communication with internal customers, sales order management, delivery creation, outbound management)
• Documenting existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in similar tasks, preferably in a global business environment
• Flexible mindset. Curious and willing to learn
• Willingness to be part of fast-paced organization with big ambitions
• Relevant commercial / supply chain education, or a strong interest in developing in that direction
• Ability to build networks and work flexibly in a multicultural environment
• Strong communication skills. Excellent command of English
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
