Leidos has an opening for a Logistics Supply Chain Specialist to work in our Albuquerque, NM office. This exciting opportunity will challenge your ability to place, track and receive orders for specialty hardware that supports research and development across multiple projects. You will join our team that supports the Directed Energy Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland AFB
Primary Responsibilities
-Work with Leidos technical staff and purchasing agents to place orders for materials and supplies.
-Ability to work multiple issues quickly and provide accurate information to staff.
-Track orders and provide delivery updates to our technical staff and customers.
-Receive orders, notify purchasing of delivery and delivering material to various locations.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- AS degree and/or 10 plus years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations; extra years in lieu of a degree w/ a HS diploma
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with a desire to help people overcome obstacles.
- Experience using Costpoint or similar procurement systems.
Preferred Qualifications
-Active DoD Secret clearance
-Experience and/or certification of operating a forklift.
-Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
-Accounting background with understanding of cost allocations.
-Experience with Costpoint, SAP or similar procurement systems preferred.
