Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, execution, maintenance, and compliance of supply chain related activities to support the business. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures and support SCM projects as needed. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

The work model for the role is: hybrid in New Berlin, WI.
This role is contributing to the Motion Service Division.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Executing day-to-day supply chain activities to support and improve material availability, supplier performance, cost, quality and reliability.

  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of supply chain processes, tools and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, visibility and standardization.

  • Coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues, follow up on open actions, provide status updates and support effective exception management.

  • Applying established supply chain standards, processes and best practices within the area of responsibility and supporting continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related Field

  • 2-5 years of experience in procurement and other supply chain functions such as operations, sourcing, logistics and planning and fulfillment 

  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP Systems

  •  Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASCM Certifications (CPIM, CSCP) are a plus

  • Experience with electrical/mechanical products, industrial automation, or power equipment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
