The Sub-tier Mapping Intern plays a key role in maintaining an accurate and comprehensive database of suppliers and their respective sub-suppliers and their respective components within the supply chain. This involves identifying, categorizing, and tracking components from tier-one suppliers down to lower tiers, ensuring transparency and compliance with procurement guidelines.
My Role:
- Assist in identifying and documenting all tier-n suppliers in the supply chain.
- Conduct research and gather information about lower-tier suppliers and sub-suppliers associated with each tier-n supplier.
Data Entry and Management:
- Support in entering and maintain detailed records of suppliers, sub-suppliers, and associated components in the database.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all information.
Verification and Validation:
- Verify the authenticity and accuracy of supplier information through various channels, including direct communication, documentation, and external databases.
- Issue Resolution:
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to supplier information promptly and effectively.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate reports on supplier/sub-supplierrelationships, categorizations, and compliance status as required by management.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with supply chain, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.

- Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
- Data driven, strong detail orientated and data accuracy
- Possess proficiency in English as they will be in regular communication with suppliers worldwide, most of whom primarily communicate in English.
- Works with urgency and an owner's mindset to ensure actions are completed on time
- Microsoft office ( Excel ).
- Advanced English level.
- Current Student (Industrial Engineer, Logistics engineering, Engineering in mechatronics or Bachelors Degree in International Trade).
- Availability to work from Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
