This role provides project leadership—scoping, scheduling, resource management, and stakeholder alignment—while coordinating a cross-functional team of sourcing, procurement, logistics, operations, and engineering professionals in Global, Division, BU & Site level teams. A key responsibility is to run strategic projects to build high performing, sustainable and robust supplier networks, ensuring supply continuity and long-term competitiveness. Responsibilities:

End-to-End Project Leadership

  • Ensure a clear, “clean order” project start and manage scope changes through formal change control.

  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams, clarify roles, and resolve resource or schedule conflicts.

Strategic Supply Chain Execution:

  • Translate corporate supply chain strategy (e.g., rationalization, market diversification, global sourcing expansion, cost optimization or other major supply chain development initiatives) into executable project plans.

  • Deliver measurable results such as improved resilience, cost savings, and service-level gains.

  • Run strategic projects to build sustainable and robust supplier networks.

Sourcing Projects:

  • Lead major sourcing-related projects that strengthen the global supplier base and reduce risk.

  • Collaborate with sourcing, procurement and engineering teams to qualify new suppliers and ensure capacity readiness.

  • Guide competitive bidding, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and long-term agreement (LTA) negotiations at the project level.

  • Align sourcing decisions with overall project objectives, ensuring continuity of supply and cost competitiveness.

Governance & Communication:

  • Provide timely project updates, milestones, and risk assessments to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Escalate issues following established processes and ensure customer and stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded.

Financial & Performance Management:

  • Manage project budgets and spending expectations.

  • Define and track KPIs to measure success and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field

  • 4+  years of supply chain, procurement, sourcing or relevant experience with 3+ years in project or program management, preferably in valve manufacturing, oil & gas equipment, or heavy industrial sectors

  • Proven success delivering large, cross-functional projects with quantifiable results

  • Up to 25% travel, domestically and internationally as required.

  • Strong project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities

  • Strong team-building, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Preferred:

  • PMP, or equivalent certification

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and analytics tools (Power BI, Excel)
