Position Summary

We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to support manufacturing operations through production planning, purchasing, inventory coordination, and material management. This position plays a key role in ensuring that materials are available when needed, production schedules remain on track, and inventory is managed efficiently throughout the manufacturing process.

The successful candidate will bring experience in a manufacturing setting, strong ERP/MRP system knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic production environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production material plans for assigned manufacturing activities.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities for raw materials, components, and production-related supplies.
  • Track materials throughout the production cycle, including procurement, receiving, inventory management, assembly support, and shipment preparation.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP software to maintain inventory accuracy and support production scheduling requirements.
  • Work closely with operations, inventory, and production teams to ensure material availability aligns with manufacturing demands.
  • Source and procure manufacturing components, including electrical products such as wiring, cabling, meters, and related materials.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and planning records within company systems.
  • Identify and help resolve material shortages, delivery delays, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to supply chain and production planning processes.

Qualifications

    Required
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, production planning, material planning, or a related supply chain role.
    • Background working within a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
    • Experience utilizing ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar systems.
    • Strong understanding of inventory control, material requirements planning, and production scheduling.
    • Experience sourcing and purchasing manufacturing materials and electrical components.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Preferred
      • APICS certification or other relevant supply chain credentials.
      • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
