Inside the Role
The Launch and Change Management team is responsible for leading the implementation of new product projects into DTNA's truck manufacturing plants and supply chain networks. Our team is responsible for understanding the technical changes introduced by DTNA Engineering, ensuring the launch strategy is aligned throughout the organization, and actionable for both Operations, and DTNA's supply chain. We lead our supply chain to ensure new part forecasting for production volumes is transparent, and tooling, returnable packaging, transportation, and all other manufacturing requirements are achieved, including coordination of necessary supplier changes.

What you Drive at DTNA

Support LCM Material planning team priorities related to the Operations/Supply Chain team.

Contribute to Supplier and DTNA cross-functional activities to ensure supplier performance meets stakeholder expectations.

Support all internal customer topics such as Series, Resourcing and NPP team Material goals such as OTD, are achieved.

Engage in LCM Material planning KPI Reporting/Mgmt. and lead resulting problem solving and corrective action implementation.

Support maintenance of LCM Material planning team’s training materials as needed to ensure all stakeholder R&R’s are understood and satisfied.

Negotiate with internal and external suppliers, solve problems, develop win-win resolutions, and develop positive relations.

Support and Lead CI / lessons learned activities relating to supplier launch readiness issues impacting the plant.

Coordinate required documentation and follow-up to ensure timely completion of all activities related to Series function in alignment with other Operations teams.

Support Series events, including but not limited to supplier conferences, industry events, plant meetings, and other cross-functional meetings.
Knowledge You Should Bring
-
Bachelors Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related study and 2-5 years of relevant experience required.

Deep understanding of LCM business process needed to effectively handle Material planning for different commodities

Working knowledge and understanding of engineering and manufacturing systems required

Excellent writing, verbal communication, and negotiation skills required
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
-
2 years of experience preferred in DTNA Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Project Management

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Functions including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions preferred
-
Proficiency with IMS and/or other MRP systems

Understanding of Lean practices and principles preferred

Working Knowledge of DTNA Supply chain preferred
