- Manage direct material planning to ensure materials are available at the right time, lowest cost, and correct quantities to meet customer demands (manual operation).
- Monitor and control inventory levels against agreed targets.
- Work closely with FG Planner/Product Planning Group to minimize material obsolescence.
- Execute the material allocation strategy set by Procurement, collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of material planning processes.
- Lead or support projects related to the SCM portfolio.
- Support factory initiatives and directives.
- At least 5 years of experience in a factory environment with material planning expertise.
- Degree in any discipline.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships.
- High level of integrity and strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work independently.
- Strong analytical skills and interest in working with data and figures.
- Proficiency in Excel; SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
