The Supply Chain Planner will play a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain by balancing inventory levels, production schedules, and demand forecasts. This role requires analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to meet service level targets and ensure smooth operations. The Supply Planner will also work to minimize stockouts and excess inventory while maintaining efficient inventory turnover to meet the agreed upon customer service level.

What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and manage inventory plans to meet sales and production needs while optimizing inventory turnover.
- Monitor and analyze stock levels, and make adjustments to avoid shortages or overages.
- Work with demand planners and production planners to balance supply against forecasted demand and ensure stock levels are aligned with company targets.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to support accurate forecasting and replenishment plans.
- Collaborate with demand planning and sales teams to assess forecast accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Develop and execute replenishment plans in collaboration with production, purchasing, and logistics teams.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products, addressing any potential delays.
- Resolve supply chain issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and capacity constraints, in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Work with production planners to develop production timelines that meet inventory and sales requirements.
- Communicate production needs and potential issues with suppliers, and develop solutions for supply constraints.
- Monitor and reports key supply chain KPIs such as stock levels, backorder, stockout risks, order fulfillment rates, OTIF.
- Generate and analyze reports to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations to improve supply chain performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, including automation and technology integration.
- Lead or participate in projects focused on enhancing supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in supply planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
- Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working cross-functionally with various departments.
- Proficient with power BI to build reporting and enhance automation is preferable.
- Experience with advanced forecasting techniques and planning tools.
- APICS or CPIM certification is preferred.
- Fluent Business English is an asset.
