This position is responsible for the planning and management of finished goods for customers whose production is located in Europe and/or whose loading points are located in Iberia, ensuring product availability and compliance with the service level commitments agreed with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Finished Goods Planning
Plan and place orders, managing finished goods flows from the various production plants through to delivery in Iberia.
Inventory Management
Manage and control established finished goods stock levels, including inventory in transit.
Calculate replenishment requirements for logistics centres, ensuring customer service levels are maintained.
Maintain an appropriate balance between product availability and storage capacity.
Identify and manage risks related to stock shortages, excess stock and obsolescence.
Calculate and ensure the accuracy of production line capacity check information.
Replenishment and Supply Management
Participate in the planning and optimisation of product movements between manufacturing plants, external warehouses and logistics centres.
Formalise product transfers through the creation and follow-up of truck purchase orders.
Coordinate with logistics providers and production plants to ensure compliance with established plans.
Shelf-Life and Waste Management
Monitor expiry dates of available stock.
Propose and coordinate actions to minimise waste and prevent obsolescence.
Anticipate potential availability risks arising from shelf-life restrictions.
Demand Management
Analyse variances between demand forecasts and actual customer orders.
Communicate incidents and significant deviations for forecast updates.
Collaborate actively with Raw Material Procurement, Demand Planning and Customer Service teams to improve planning accuracy.
Planning Tools Management
Configure and maintain master data and planning parameters correctly within JDA.
Monitor the proper functioning of planning systems.
Identify opportunities for improvement in tools, processes and parameters to increase operational efficiency.
