About Critical Loop

Critical Loop is shaping the next generation of energy systems by building the integrated edge grid of the future. Specializing in advanced energy management and battery control systems, Critical Loop empowers businesses and communities to seamlessly unite distributed energy resources for faster, more reliable, and affordable grid access. With deep expertise in grid modernization and a passion for creating resilient, responsive energy solutions, Critical Loop drives innovation at the intersection of technology and energy.

About the Role

The Supply Chain Manager will establish and manage Critical Loop’s supply chain systems for equipment purchasing, inventory tracking, vendor coordination, and delivery follow-through - ensuring that hardware and materials are available for builds and projects on schedule, at the right cost, and with full traceability. You will build and operate the backbone of Critical Loop’s procurement, planning, and inventory systems, ensuring that components for battery, inverter, and switchgear assemblies are purchased, tracked, and delivered on time. This role requires a mix of organization, process design, and tactical execution — ideal for someone who enjoys turning chaos into systems and scaling early-stage hardware operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee supply chain systems to track all major quotes, purchase orders, deliveries, and receipts.

  • Develop visibility across vendors and projects, including quote status, delivery timelines, and fulfillment progress. Implement a consistent three-way match process: PO vs. packing list vs. received goods to reconcile deliveries.

  • Maintain current documentation on all large-ticket items (> $10K) and all UL-certified system components.

  • Serve as the point of coordination between engineering, operations, and accounting for vendor relationships.

  • Maintain supplier records including quotes, lead times, invoices, and NDAA/FEOC compliance data.

  • Request updated delivery confirmations, track late-delivery risks, and escalate as needed.

  • Translate approved BOMs or purchase requests into purchase orders and manage reconciliations.

  • Coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely payments and shipment

    reconciliations.

  • Track inventory of transformers, combiners, inverters, and electrical gear; maintain

    on-hand and inbound visibility.

  • Support receiving and inspection processes at site level; establish site-level receiving

    standards.

  • Work with operations to forecast demand by vendor and project, supporting financial

    planning and budgeting.

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; report potential bottlenecks proactively.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, or materials management within energy, construction, or industrial hardware sectors.

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple vendors and deliveries under tight timelines.

  • Understanding of bills of materials, purchasing workflows, and three-way reconciliation.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments.

  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and process-driven tracking systems.

  • Process-oriented, detail-driven, and proactive communicator capable of scaling systems as company volume grows.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with battery, inverter, switchgear, or utility equipment supply chains.

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as UL 9540, NDAA, or ITC Domestic Content.

  • Experience building lightweight supply chain systems that scale (spreadsheet-to-software evolution).

  • Experience in a startup or rapidly growing industrial technology environment.
