About the job

External Manufacturing & Supply Gen Med Europe oversees the relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), business partners and 3rd parties involved in the manufacture,

distribution, and transport of Sanofi products.

The team interacts with CMO supply chain, customer service and planification organizations and as well with functional units within External Manufacturing Global, Internal Sanofi sites, Sanofi Affiliates and other organizations within the industrial network (e.g. procurement, finance, quality/regulatory, technical and transfer, KAM, Strategic Portfolio Managers).

Your job, as Supply Chain Manager within our External Manufacturing & Supply organization, will be to ensure compliance with internal requirements and to supply intermediates, raw material, active ingredient, and finished products with quality/regulatory standards, within agreed time frames and at expected quantities and costs.

Main responsibilities:

  • Relationship management with Suppliers and Customers
    • Manage contractual relationships with Suppliers and Customers
    • Transport management in agreement with contractual incoterm
    • Manage relationship with Customer service and Distribution Centre to ensure
    • end-to-end flows
    • Lead Activity Review Meetings
  • Demand and Planning management
    • Pilot the whole process of forecasts collection and analyse from markets
    • Create, develop and adjust production plan with firm orders and long-term forecasts horizon to share with plants.
    • Create orders and ensure their follow up from launch to delivery to Distribution Centres.
    • Ensure proper setup of master data
    • Coordinate packaging items changes
    • Ensure day-to-day communication with CMOs/Suppliers and lead regular meetings
  • Active Product Ingrediencies and Raw Materials Management
    • Ensure an end-to-end process and manage stock policy in place
    • Create orders and ensure their follow-up from launch to delivery to CMOs /Suppliers / Customers
    • Setup transportation flows, organize transportation and manage associated costs
    • Lead reconciliation process and ensure stock adjustments (in quantity and
    • value) between Sanofi and CMOs/Suppliers inventory.
    • Inventory management with External
    • Lead or support projects for double sourcing or research of alternative source
    • Drive the process of alert in case of shortage and lead the allocation process by proposing solutions, prioritization
  • KPIs and Projects
    • Monitor Group supply indicators: out-of-stock rate, shortage report, supply alerts, customer service level, inventory level, stock policy, ….
    • Monitor CMOs/suppliers supply chain indicators (On Time In Full, Supply Adherence, capacity constraints) and control performance, yield, obsolescence.
    • Contribute to identification and follow up of Quality alert.
    • Lead, contribute or support cross functional improvements business/strategic
    • projects.
    • Divestments, transfers, launches, end of commercialization: key role of coordination and expertise. Lead meeting with external partners and bring expertise on all Supply topics.
    • Participate in the development of the budget and trends in volumes.
    • Manage non-COGs purchase orders creation and follow up, with associated
    • budget.
    • Serialization, aggregation, technology & transfer support

About you

Experience:

  • Professional experience in Supply Chain, end-to-end Supply Chain and Industrial Planning process.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus

Soft skills

  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Problem-solving and Time management
  • Capacity to work transversally with different functions
  • Autonomy 
  • Ability to work on complex projects in challenging environment 

Technical skills

  • Deep understanding of supply chain planning processes
  • Strong experience in SAP and Planning tool (Kinaxis is a plus) 
  • Ability to conduct data-driven analysis and communicate findings to management team 

Languages

  • English: Fluent professional practice
