Join our team as a Supply Chain Manager

You will take ownership of a high-impact national rollout initiative. In this role, you'll lead the entire logistics lifecycle--from raw material forecasting and procurement to production scheduling, inventory control, and outbound distribution. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless operations, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong project management skills and a passion for driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Summary

The Logistics Project Manager oversees end-to-end logistics for a major national rollout initiative. This role manages forecasting, procurement, raw material flow, production scheduling alignment, outbound/inbound logistics, and inventory planning with external partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and experienced in logistics, scheduling, and project management within a manufacturing or food production setting.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Scheduling

  • Manage the full logistics lifecycle: raw material forecasting and purchasing, inbound deliveries, production alignment, finished goods storage, and outbound shipping.
  • Maintain real-time visibility into production needs, inventory levels, and shipment timing.
  • Coordinate closely with third party vendors, storage, and other distribution partners.

Procurement Alignment

  • Responsible for the procurement of the main raw materials for this program
  • Track lead times, pricing, minimums, and availability; escalate risks proactively.
  • Ensure materials arrive in alignment with production schedules to prevent shortages or overstock.

Project Management

  • Own the logistics workflow from start to finish for the designated product line.
  • Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and progress updates.
  • Identify risks, constraints, and bottlenecks; propose solutions to maintain schedule integrity.

Data & Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate records of inbound/outbound product movement.
  • Use analytics to forecast needs, identify trends, and optimize logistics efficiency.
  • Track inventory across production and distribution points.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with production, QA, purchasing, scheduling, and leadership teams.
  • Serve as the central communication point for all logistics activities related to the assigned projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3--5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, scheduling, or project management, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Experience managing complex inventory or multi-site logistics operations.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills; comfort with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP/PMI) preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Able to pass a background check
