The Supply Chain team is responsible for managing the end-to-end planning for all of Verkada’s hardware products as well as executing supply chain initiatives that enable Verkada to plan, build, and deliver products more efficiently.
As a part of our growing Taiwan team, you will jump right into Verkada’s day-to-day operations by leveraging your analytical, strategic planning, and critical thinking skills to tackle a wide variety of challenges. You will interface with various parts of the business including Finance, Product, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations with our manufacturing partners in Asia as the primary point of contact for sustaining hardware programs
- Collaborate with members of the Supply Chain team to evaluate supply risks and implement mitigation plans while meeting Verkada’s financial objectives
- Identify, develop, and guide process improvements with our suppliers to scale operations in support of a growing hardware portfolio
- Partner with Hardware Engineering to drive new products to launch, ensure a continuity of supply, and roll in engineering changes
- Identify supply chain improvement opportunities and lead projects towards completion
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in a business-related or quantitative field (Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or similar discipline)
- 4+ years of professional experience in supply chain, material planning, production planning, program management, or related fields.
- 2+ years of professional experience managing electronic hardware
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English & Mandarin)
- Strong Excel and/or Google sheets skills
- Ability to travel up to 15%
