Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst to support the Everett Modification Center in Everett, WA and Military Delivery Center in Tukwila, WA!
On the job training will be required in Tukwila, WA for the first 6 months to a year then the candidate will be working at both locations Tukwila and Everett WA.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Assists with change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
  • Assists with the analyzing of complex material requirements
  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
  • Determines part number attributes
  • Helps to initiate, coordinate and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
  • Ensures on-time delivery
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies
  • Reports schedule adherence issues
  • Help with the development and control of inventory plans
  • Optimizes inventory levels
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
  • Initiates audits
  • Helps with the development and creation of schedules for products and services
  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
  • Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • More than 1 year of experience in supply chain or materials management
  • More than 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment
  • More than 1 year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • More than 1 year of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • More than 3 years of experience working with spacecraft/aircraft factory manufacturing, quality, and inventory/production control processes and tools (planning, MRP, BOMs, and Indirect Procurement, etc.)
  • More than 3 years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system

Summary pay range: $75,650 - $102,350.
