The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join our team in Edwards AFB, CA. The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing supply chain operations by incorporating change and planning decisions to achieve optimal solutions. They will apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure effective coordination within the global supply chain and analyze complex material requirements to meet organizational goals. The candidate will ensure compliance with inventory management policies, contractual obligations, and governmental regulations.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior level Supply Chain Management Analysts.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
- Apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
- Analyze complex material requirements
- Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations.
- Verify and incorporate Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
- Determine part number attributes. Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
- Ensure on-time delivery
- Document and resolve order delinquencies
- Report schedule adherence issues
- Develop and control inventory plans
- Optimize inventory levels
- Analyze and disposition excess inventories
- Initiate audits
- Develop and create schedules for products and services
- Assist in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
- Implement and maintain process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
- Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers.
- Work under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain and inventory management
- 3+ years of experience with Procurement
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- 1+ years of experience with processes analysis, processes development, and process improvement
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience with materials management and inventory in relation to government and capital property
- 1+ years of experience in flight line
- Understanding of SOX requirement
- Experience working with multiple partners across the Air Force, supply chain, and supplier management

Summary pay range for experienced level: $81,600 – $110,400
Summary pay range for senior level: $98,600 - $133,400
