Job Mission

The Supply Chain Lead for North Africa will be responsible for meeting the market demand, managing working capital components of inventory and reducing supply risks, leading the team to deliver stretch targets and continuously improve and innovate processes to achieve the company growth targets.

The Supply Chain Lead for North Africa will be also responsible for Supply Planning, Inbound Logistics, 3PL Distribution, Warehouse Management, 3PL Relationship Management, Customer Experience, Exports markets Order Management and overall supply chain operations. Overall accountable for Supply Chain Operational Excellence and Improvement Plans.

This position reports directly to the Head of Finance.

Your Impact

Supply Chain Management

  • Review and update supply chain practices to comply with changing regulations and ensure alignment across operations and export teams

  • Optimize transportation routes and manage distributor stock inventory based on market demands and customer needs

  • Monitor forecasts and implement improved supply chain processes while collaborating with other departments to identify new suppliers

Performance Metrics and Analysis

  • Define metrics to evaluate supply chain factors, analyze inventories to enhance efficiency, and document supply chain processes for clarity and compliance

Risk Management

  • Identify risk areas within the supply chain, implement mitigating measures, and ensure adherence to export controls and regional standards

Relationship Management

  • Assess vendor capabilities through site visits, negotiate terms with logistics partners, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery

Customer Experience

  • Engage with customers to refine their needs, employ analysis tools for feedback, and identify opportunities for improving customer satisfaction and ease of doing business

Staff Leadership and Management

  • Define staffing requirements, manage recruitment and induction processes, and support staff development through performance management and coaching

Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE)

  • Ensure compliance with SHE regulations, drive safety goals, conduct incident investigations, and manage team training in SHE protocols


Who You Are

  • You have a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management, or an equivalent qualification

  • You possess 5 to 7 years of experience in supply chain or operations, ideally within a Pharmaceutical or Diagnostics environment

  • You have 3-5 years of management experience

  • You demonstrate knowledge of Cold Chain processes and best practices, SAP, and Project Management

  • You can achieve results, provide feedback and coaching, and manage change effectively

  • You excel in resource management, customer service and care, relationship management, and teamwork and collaboration

  • You are capable of accountability, accuracy and attention to detail, action orientation, analytical thinking, and planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks
