The ALLO Supply Chain Intern applies industry best practices in supply chain and logistics, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and assisting in resolving issues related to inventory, assets, and vendors/suppliers. They utilize existing systems to streamline, sustain, and improve current processes, while developing research strategies to explore new or existing operational models aligned with the supply chain's future goals. Responsibilities include auditing suppliers, implementing corrective actions based on audit findings, and supporting business review sessions. The intern also tracks and updates data related to utilization, quality, inventory levels, and courier routes for ongoing projects, while evaluating customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Intelligence & Data Analytics – Supply Chain Focus

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to effectively communicate supply chain KPIs and performance metrics to stakeholders.

  • Conduct in-depth analyses of supply chain and logistics data to identify trends, patterns, and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies in collaboration with management to drive operational excellence and improve competitive positioning.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, on-time delivery, and supplier performance; implemented corrective actions to address inefficiencies.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including procurement, operations, finance, and logistics—to align strategic initiatives and share actionable insights.

  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support business decisions and address emerging supply chain challenges.

  • Identify purchasing trends and collaborate on procurement strategies to enhance cost efficiency and supplier management.

  • Ensured effective coordination and communication between procurement, warehouse, and transportation teams to streamline operations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or Higher

  • High proficiency with SQL, Advanced Excel and familiarity with Python/R or other scripting languages.

  • Knowledge of the basics of Inventory Replenishment and ABC Analysis.

  • Statistical know-how related to inventory management.

  • Capability to manage diverse projects and timelines.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and communication; prior full-time work experience is highly desirable, especially with a background in ecommerce operations and basic supply chain management.

  • Skilled in designing and creating dashboards/visualizations using tools like Tableau or similar.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment, consistently delivering exceptional results.

  • Robust communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with multiple stakeholders

  • 3-5 years’ experience in logistics and/or supply chain management required.

  • APICS certification (CSCP, CLTD or CPIM) strongly preferred.

  • PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma certification also considered.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles

  • Proficiency in utilizing systems like SAP, MRP, or similar software

  • Experience in demand planning and forecasting

  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies

  • Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Continuous improvement mindset to drive operational efficiencies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to operate a computer
