Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Information Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in optimising Microchip’s end‑to‑end supply chain performance. This role offers an ambitious analytical professional the chance to make a meaningful impact in a globally connected position influencing strategic decisions.
Analyse complex supply chain data to deliver insights that improve inventory, delivery performance, quality, and cost
Design, build, and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting using advanced data extraction and visualisation tools
Provide visibility across inventory, revenue, SIOP, delivery, and customer metrics using large datasets and data warehouses
Support planning and operations through ERP/MRP systems, enabling effective scheduling, WIP tracking, and inventory control
Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
Contribute to the implementation and adoption of new tools, including automation and AI‑enabled planning solutions
Represent the Global Supply Chain Metrics team in meetings and support training on tools and reporting solutions
Requirements/Qualifications:
3-4 years’ experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or a related analytical role
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, STEM, or equivalent practical experience
Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and experience using Tableau and SQL databases
Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals within a complex operational environment
Confident communicator, able to work effectively with global stakeholders at all organisational levels
Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft AX or similar) and graph databases is a strong advantage
