About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Executive to support our procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor management processes. The role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a solid understanding of supply chain workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including purchase orders, vendor follow-ups, and sourcing.
Track and maintain inventory levels; ensure timely restocking and avoid overstock/shortages.
Coordinate inward and outward logistics — shipments, deliveries, and dispatches.
Communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and quality expectations.
Maintain accurate records of material movement, stock levels, invoices, and supplier data.
Collaborate with warehouse and internal teams (R&D, Sales, Accounts) to meet demand.
Assist in planning material requirements based on project timelines and consumption forecasts.
Generate daily/weekly reports on inventory, vendor performance, and order status.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and quality checks.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and procurement.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic ERP or inventory software (Zoho/Tally/SAP).
Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and regional languages.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Strong coordination with vendors, courier partners, and internal teams.
Qualifications
Education: Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or related field.
Experience: 0-3 years in a supply chain, warehouse, or logistics role.
Bonus: Experience in the education, manufacturing, or aerospace domain is a plus.
