JOB PURPOSE:
The supply chain excellence project manager is part of the Continental Europe Supply Chain Excellence team, and will be be a key enabler of the supply chain transformation. Main objectives of the role are to support the transformation manager in driving the pipeline of projects (by directly managing some transversal/most complex projects), perform complex supply chain analysis when required, and drive continuous improvement efforts. On some topics she/he might also support the strategic thinking for multi year supply chain transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Support transformation manager in identifying transformation opportunities and size the business cases
• Manage full projects from the supply chain transformation pipeline, involving scoping, budget, data collection, measurement and analysis, identification of levers and their implementation, follow-up of success, change management and communication around the project. Range of projects can be forecasting analytics and demand planning, supply planning processes and tools, planning cycles (S&OE, S&OP), logistics, warehousing, network optimization, freight optimization, customer service processes and tools improvement, ...
• Support other initiative owners in driving their project by providing supply chain expertise or analytics capabilities
• Develop supply chain analytics capabilities and expertise and be the point of contact for any complex analytics requests (tradeoff evaluation, capacity optimization, logistic network modelling, forecasting models building and selection, Artificial Intelligence/Machine learnings applications to supply chain, inventory optimization/push-pull impact modelling, ...
• Coach and train teams to strengthen continuous improvement mindset and tools: KPIs set-up/performance measurement and management routines, problem solving methods (in link with MDI), standard work and business process management (process maps and description, roles & responsibilities, process KPIs, ...), Value Stream Mapping, leadership, ...
• Support transformation manager and excellence director in supply chain strategic thinking (operating model design, flows re-engineering, future approach to planning and related tools, long term network impacts evaluation, scenario modelling, ...)
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• At least 5 years experience in Supply Chain projects and optimization, ideally with a mix of planning and logistic topics in an international business environment
• Good knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, ideally acquired in international leading FMCG or food companies
• Ideally APICS certified and practitioner of six sigma (green or black belt)
• Very strong project management capabilities (e.g PMI certification)
• Very strong statistics and analytical capabilities, including use of dashboarding and optimization tools (powerBI, Data Warehouse Management or advanced Access/SQL, use of statistical tools -Minitab / Python / other, exposure/understanding of Artificial Intelligence concept and applications)
• Open mindset, passionate by change management and able to work easily with diverse teams/functions
• Ability to have and/or generate breakthrough ideas, think out of the box
• Action oriented, able to go from strategic thinking to execution
• Coaching skills in transversal mode to drive change within teams
